Scanning electrochemical probe workstation.
HEKA ElProScan 1 This is our workhorse scanning probe instrument. We use it for SECM and SECCM experiments, single nanoparticle measurements, and scanning photocurrent measurements. The whole system is enclosed in a custom built dark-box/Faraday cage so it's capable of both electrochemical and photoelectrochemical imaging. We have several wavelengths of light (455, 530, 630 nm) that are integrated with the scanning system. |
Benchtop electrochemistry.
We have a CH660E potentiostat and a CH760E bipotentiostat that we use for routine electrochemical testing and characterization. |
3D printing.
MakerGear M2 Dual & formlabs Form 2 We use these two printers for making sensors, electrochemical flow cells, microfluidic templates, lab jigs, and more. |
Laser cutting.
Glowforge Plus We use the laser cutting for precision cutting to produce masks, jigs, and channels. |
Microelectrode and pipette fabrication.
Sutter P-2000 We use the Sutter laser puller for making metal-sealed and carbon UMEs and nanoelectrodes, as well as micro- and nano-pipettes. |
